Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Visiting Luxor East Bank Landmarks

Luxor Tour – Trips in Egypt

In the morning, we will transfer you from your hotel in Marsa Alam to Luxor by a private air-conditioned vehicle to start your Nile cruise from El Gouna by visiting:

Karnak Temple

Karnak Temple is one of the largest religious complexes ever built in ancient Egypt. Dedicated to the Theban Triad, Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, it served as the spiritual heart of the New Kingdom. Constructed and expanded between approximately 1971 BC and 30 BC, the vast 247-acre complex features monumental temples, towering pylons, sacred chapels, the world-famous Great Hypostyle Hall, obelisks, sacred lakes, and countless architectural masterpieces that reflect more than two millennia of Egyptian history.

Then move to check in at the deluxe Nile cruise and have your delicious lunch.

In the evening, you will head with your guide to visit:

Luxor Temple By Night

The Temple of Luxor is one of the most significant archaeological attractions ever built by the great rulers Ramesses II and Amenhotep III in 1400 BC. This lunar wonder became a golden symbol of the rejuvenation of kingship, and it was used to host the royal festival of Opet, where statues of gods and kings passed along the marvelous avenue of the sphinxes.

At the end of the day, you will return to your cruise for the overnight.

Note: Lunch & dinner meals will be onboard your cruise.

Meals: Lunch, Dinner

Day 2

Visiting Luxor West Bank Landmarks

Luxor Tour – Trips in Egypt

After breakfast onboard your Nile Cruise, you will join your Egyptologist guide to explore Luxor's West Bank, including:

Valley of the Kings

Valley of the Kings is one of ancient Egypt's most extraordinary archaeological treasures, hidden beneath the rugged hills of Luxor's Theban Necropolis. Home to more than 60 royal tombs, this UNESCO World Heritage Site served as the final resting place of many New Kingdom pharaohs and nobles, including Tutankhamun, Seti I, and Ramesses II. Inside, visitors discover breathtaking wall paintings, intricate hieroglyphs, and remarkable funerary art that reveal the religious beliefs, royal traditions, and journey to the afterlife of ancient Egypt's greatest rulers.

Afterward, have your lunch, then move to visit one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt:

Hatshepsut Temple

Hatshepsut Temple remains one of the most magical pieces of ancient Egyptian architectural art, which was created to stand the test of time for the sole purpose of immortalizing the golden legacy of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC). This classical piece of New Kingdom architecture is a true masterpiece filled with marvelous examples of true beauty.

Then you’ll head towards the two massive statues that are called:

Colossi of Memnon

Colossi of Memnon are two colossal quartzite statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III (reigned c. 1391–1353 BC), originally erected around 1350 BC to guard the entrance to his magnificent mortuary temple on Luxor's West Bank. Carved from massive blocks of quartzite transported from near modern-day Cairo, the statues are all that remain of what was once one of ancient Egypt's largest temple complexes, which was largely destroyed over time by earthquakes and the annual Nile floods. Intricate inscriptions and carvings on the colossi continue to reveal fascinating details about Amenhotep III's reign, royal power, and artistic achievements.

You will spend the night on board your Nile Cruise sailing to Edfu.

Note: The breakfast, lunch & dinner meals will be onboard your cruise.

Edfu Temple (the Greco-Roman Temple) was dedicated to the falcon sky god Horus. It was made between 237 BC and 57 BC in the same place where Horus defeated Set. Over the walls of this fantastic and highly preserved temple, some pictures show Horus overcoming the devil god Seth.

Then, after visiting the Edfu temple, you’ll explore:

Kom Ombo Temple

Kom Ombo Temple is a golden double temple of magic and wonder that rejuvenates from the mythical powers of the Nile River, established during the Ptolemaic dynasty between 180 BC and 47 BC. Across the temple walls are many vivid carvings that exhibit the most important astronomical marvels and the tools made by Egyptian doctors.
