The Colossi of Memnon were commissioned by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350 BC), and were made in the capital city of Cairo before being relocated to the entrance of Luxor to become a pure symbol of the greatness of the pharaoh. The unique Kom Ombo Temple is found straight on the bank of the Nile and is known to be a dual sanctuary dedicated to the crocodile god, which was one of the last temples built in the history of Egypt during the Greco-Roman period between 205 BC and 180 BC in dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and Horus the Elder.

The Philae Temple is a symbol of everlasting beauty and glory, which was constructed between 380 BC and 362 BC by King Ptolemy II.
